I am a Growth and Cost effectiveness Specialist with 33 years of professional and entrepreneurial experience in India, Indonesia and the USA. I am currently involved with Nilons Group as Director and CEO for last 14 years. In this period of 14 years, I grew the company from 8 crores annual top line in 2004 to 500 crores (staggering 125 times increase in revenue and 300 times by profitability), making it the fastest growing food processing company in India. In the past, I have worked with iconic and marquee companies like ITC and Hindustan Unilever.
- Started career with Unilever Group in India as Management Trainee in 1987. Worked as part of Finance & Animal Feeds Division for 5 years in the covenanted management category. Was listed as an outstanding performer.
- Joined Hong Kong based textiles & garments group in their Indonesian operations as G.M. (Operations) in 1992. Worked with them for 7 years in Indonesia & USA. Credited with huge cost saving initiatives and diversifying the customer base of the company.
- Joined as Senior Vice President (New Initiatives and Finance) with Lalbhai group in Ahmedabad in 1999. Reduced leverage and reduced cost in raw material by 300 basis points
